Vietjet has announced the launch of direct flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Xi’an, with four round trips per week. Each flight will last approximately four hours and the service will begin on April 29. The announcement was made during the visit of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue to China on April 10, as part of a forum on promoting investment and trade cooperation between Vietnam and China. This route marks Vietjet’s third flight connecting Ho Chi Minh City to China, following successful routes to Shanghai and Chengdu. Since its inception in 2014, Vietjet has transported over 12 million passengers to nearly 50 destinations across China.
