Alexis Ohanian, a venture capitalist and entrepreneur, has been announced as a speaker at the upcoming Invest West conference in Los Angeles. The event, also known as Invest in Sports Los Angeles, will bring together top executives, owners, athletes, and investors in the sports and entertainment industry on the West Coast.
Ohanian is a general partner and founder of Seven Seven Six, an early-stage venture capital firm that focuses on investing in startups that use technology to disrupt traditional industries. He is also an owner of the NWSL’s Angel City Football Club and L.A. Golf Club. Previously, Ohanian was a partner at Y Combinator and the founder of Reddit in 2005. He is married to tennis legend Serena Williams, and the couple have two daughters.
Invest West will offer a full day of programming and networking opportunities at the 1 Hotel West Hollywood on May 8th.
