In Sicily, employment consultants are actively seeking various professional figures, such as commercial employees in the entertainment sector, opticians, orthopedic doctors, physiatrists, experts in wages and contributions, personal assistance workers, family workers, and managers of orders. However, despite the abundance of job offers, 42.7% of the jobs remain vacant due to a lack of suitable candidates, particularly in the tourism, services, and construction sectors. To address this issue and facilitate the meeting between job supply and demand, the Truck of the National Foundation for Labor Consultants will be in Piazza Duomo in Messina from 9am to 2pm on Monday. This marks the conclusion of the national route “The work travels with us! A tour for orientation, legality, and safety”, which has engaged around 5 thousand secondary school students, university students and job seekers in 18 Italian cities since April 3.
During the event in Messina, young people will receive orientation activities from specialized professionals to help them choose study paths aligned with the job market’s needs.
