The White House is calling for a comprehensive investigation into the discovery of mass graves in two hospitals in the Gaza Strip, which were destroyed during a recent military offensive. They expressed concern and a desire for answers from Israel regarding the events. The National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, stated that the information is very worrying and that they have been in contact with the Israeli Government at multiple levels to understand exactly what happened and seek detailed information about the circumstances surrounding the mass graves.

The Gaza Strip authorities, controlled by Hamas, reported the discovery of more than 320 bodies in graves at Naser Hospital in Khan Younis and another 30 bodies in the Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. While Israel has denied any wrongdoing, stating that they examined mortal remains as part of their efforts to locate hostages during the raid, there is an urgent need for transparency and accountability to fully understand and address this troubling situation.
