U.S. News & World Report recently ranked the top high schools in the country, including nearly 400 schools from Indiana. The rankings were based on data from statewide standardized testing results, graduation rates, College Board and International Baccalaureate exam data, and the U.S. Department of Education’s Common Core of Data. Out of approximately 25,000 public schools reviewed, 395 schools from Indiana made the list.

The top-ranked schools in Indiana were found to have high rates of students scoring above average in math, science, and reading assessments, passing college-level exams, and graduating in four years. Among these top schools are Signature School in Evansville, The Indiana Academy in Muncie, West Lafayette Jr./Sr. High School, Zionsville Community High School, Herron High School in Indianapolis, Carmel High School, Speedway Senior High School, Westfield High School, Munster High School, and Fishers High School.
