In the aftermath of the recent tragedy involving volunteers from the “World Central Kitchen” organization, several British politicians and public figures have called for a halt to arms shipments to Israel. Sir Nicholas Soames, member of the House of Lords, and three conservative deputies in the House of Representatives have voiced their concerns about the UK’s military aid to Israel. In addition, more than 600 lawyers, academics, and former judges have warned Prime Minister Rishi Sunak that providing military aid to Israel may violate international law.

The Independent newspaper has also condemned Israel’s actions in Gaza, stating that it is time to force Israel to end the war. The editorial criticized the Israeli government for abusing international sympathy and support, calling for an end to the conflict. The article also criticized Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu for his stubbornness and refusal to listen to diplomatic requests.

The Israeli government must end the war and that Netanyahu’s motives to continue the conflict are questionable. The Independent did not mince words in its criticism of Israel’s actions and called for immediate action to bring an end to the conflict.
