The UFL’s ratings for Week 3 of the league’s inaugural season had a mix of positive and negative outcomes. According to Mike Mitchell of SI.com, the games played on April 13 and 14 generated varying levels of viewership. One of the highlights was the exciting game between D.C. and Arlington, although the audience on ESPN for that game was only 534,000. Meanwhile, the Fox game between Memphis and Birmingham attracted a higher audience of 837,000 viewers.

On Sunday, two back-to-back games aired on ABC, coinciding with the final round of the Masters. Despite low attendance at both events, both games drew in strong viewership numbers. The Houston-Michigan game secured an average viewership of 974,000 while the St. Louis Battlehawks defeated the San Antonio Brahmas drew in 1.023 million viewers.

With seven weeks remaining in the UFL’s regular season, it is clear that building momentum and engaging more fans will be crucial to success for this new league. As such, Sunday’s high viewership numbers are likely a sign that the UFL is moving in the right direction towards achieving these goals as they continue to present captivating games and competitive matchups throughout their season ahead.
