The Kinetix Group (TKG) recently announced the launch of a new health equity blog series titled “Keeping Health Equity Front and Center.” As healthcare leaders continue to struggle with measuring health equity, TKG aims to support decision-makers in their journey towards improving health equity data collection.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the largest healthcare payer in the US, plays a crucial role in setting the bar for health equity data collection. However, measuring health equity remains a challenge for many healthcare organizations. In response to changing guidance from CMS and shifting trends in the healthcare landscape, TKG launched its new blog series to help stakeholders stay informed about the latest developments in health equity.

Chloe Sweetnam, a senior manager at TKG, shared her excitement about working with TKG to support customers on their health equity journey. TKG has been recognized for its efforts in building inclusive healthcare education materials and empowering patient communities affected by health disparities.

The first blog in the series focuses on strategies for collecting quality health equity data, including navigating inpatient Quality Reporting measures, optimizing hospital health equity data collection, and demonstrating organizational compliance. By sharing insights and best practices specific to hospital stakeholders, TKG hopes to accelerate progress towards improving health equity for hospitals and health systems.
