Two Rivers is a city that is experiencing rapid growth and development, with several exciting projects on the horizon. This was confirmed by both city leaders and a new business owner in the community. Melissa Nyssen, co-owner of a new hotel and spa set to open in downtown Two Rivers, expressed her excitement to be part of the thriving city.

Nyssen shared that she was amazed at the potential and growth she saw in Two Rivers, particularly in the branding efforts and new businesses that were emerging. The Community Development Director, Elizabeth Runge, agreed that this new establishment was just one of many recent developments in the area. She emphasized the importance of having a well-rounded portfolio of industrial and retail elements for a healthy city.

The growth in Two Rivers is not limited to downtown, as the Woodland Industrial Park is also seeing increased business activity. Runge highlighted the need for a comprehensive approach to development that includes both industrial and retail elements. Nyssen stated that they aimed to have final plans for their hotel laid out by June and open by early 2025, expressing their gratitude for the opportunity to share this amazing place with others.

In addition to the hotel project, another waterfront development may be on the horizon if everything checks out. Runge hinted at this possibility while discussing other ongoing projects in Two Rivers, indicating that there are no signs of slowing down when it comes to growth and progress in this flourishing city.
