Two Florida Gators have recently put themselves in a prime position to potentially secure spots in the RBC Heritage in three weeks. Alejandro Tosti and Billy Horschel both finished strongly at the Texas Children’s Houston Open, with Tosti finishing in second place and Horschel in seventh. Their impressive performances propelled them inside the cut line for the Aon Swing 5, a tournament that rewards the top five players in aggregate FedExCup points from specific events.

The Aon Swing 5 includes players from the Puerto Rico Open, Valspar Championship, Houston Open, and the upcoming Valero Texas Open. Those who are not already exempt will participate in the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town the week after the Masters. Currently, Brice Garnett, Erik Barnes, and Chandler Phillips are leading the way, with Victor Perez closely following behind Horschel. Tosti’s second-place finish moved him up 92 spots in the Swing 5 and to No. 93 in FEC points for the season.
