Techfest Vietnam 2024: Bridging the Gap – Connecting Vietnamese Startups to the Global Stage

The 10th National Innovation Startup Festival, Techfest Vietnam 2024, is set to kick off in April with a mission to integrate the creative startup ecosystem into global markets. This was announced by Dr. Pham Hong Quat, Director of the Department of Science and Technology Market Development at the Ministry of Science and Technology on April 19.

Techfest 2024, with the theme “10-year journey – Global integration,” will showcase the innovations and business models of the creative startup ecosystem over the past decade. Each year, the festival’s theme addresses key issues in the startup ecosystem, aiming to find solutions and foster growth. This year’s theme focuses on bringing Vietnam’s startup ecosystem into regional and international integration, laying the groundwork for a network of creative startup nations.

The festival will take place in Hai Phong and will feature various events such as policy forums, talent contests, investment sessions, and product exhibitions. Nearly 150 activities will be organized, with the participation of around 30 technology villages. The festival will also include conferences, an international forum, technology exhibitions, and a high-level policy forum, as well as a talk show to inspire and connect the global startup network.

In addition to promoting Vietnamese startups on a global stage, Techfest Vietnam aims to support their market development and attract international investments. With national innovation startup support centers established in Hanoi
