Cornerback Xavien Howard, who is currently an unattached free agent and ranks highly on PFT’s top 100 list, has expressed interest in returning to his hometown of Houston to play for the Texans. During an interview with The OGs Podcast, Howard mentioned that playing for the Texans once again holds significant appeal for him due to his strong connection to the city. He has tattoos of the Houston Rockets and Texans, which further solidifies this connection.

While Howard believes that playing for the Texans is a realistic option, any potential agreement would depend on contract negotiations. However, he emphasized that winning a Super Bowl is his top priority over financial gain. Improving the cornerback position would contribute to the Texans’ chances of competing for a championship, but both parties will need to come to an agreement for a potential reunion to happen.
