A brutal attack on a 15-year-old teenager in Viry-Châtillon, France has left the country in shock. The victim was attacked by several people and unfortunately did not survive. This incident follows closely behind another brutal beating of a 14-year-old girl in Montpellier, which has raised concerns about the level of violence among adolescents.

President Emmanuel Macron has condemned the violence and emphasized the importance of schools as safe spaces for students. The mayor of Viry-Châtillon has expressed similar concerns and called for action to address the issue. The prosecutor’s office is currently working on an investigation into the murder and is trying to identify and apprehend the perpetrators. In Montpellier, three individuals have been detained for their involvement in the assault.

Reports suggest that these attacks may have stemmed from social media interactions and conflicts between groups of teenagers. The victim’s mother has indicated that her daughter had been bullied at school due to differences in clothing and religious practices. The Minister of National Education has launched an investigation to address bullying in schools and ensure student safety.
