On Wednesday, March 20, an assault occurred at a business located on N. Dixie Highway near Sheets Road in Berlin Township, Michigan. The incident resulted in two individuals being sent to the hospital. Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a fight at the business that led to one person being stabbed.
Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a victim who had been stabbed multiple times. Both individuals involved in the altercation received treatment at the scene before being transferred to Beaumont Hospital in Trenton. Fortunately, they are expected to recover from their injuries.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau is currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
