In a recent announcement, U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff stated that he has secured Federal funding for Tift Regional Health System to upgrade their health care services, specifically for traditional and peritoneal dialysis. This funding will greatly benefit patients in South Georgia who require dialysis treatments. Senator Ossoff expressed his gratitude towards Christopher Dorman, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Tift Regional Health System, for bringing this proposal to his office and for his leadership in the community.

Claire Byrnes, Senior Vice President for Ambulatory Services at Tift Regional Health System, also expressed her appreciation for Senator Ossoff’s support in securing Federal funding for this project. The funding will allow Tift Regional Health System to expand and upgrade their health care services for families in South Central Georgia. With the rise in Outpatient Dialysis volume, the new equipment will help Tift Regional Health System to more than double their capacity and provide effective care using state-of-the-art clinical care machinery.

Senator Ossoff was able to bring together both Republicans and Democrats to secure $600,000 for this project through a bipartisan government funding package. This funding will greatly benefit patients in South Georgia who require dialysis treatments. Senator Ossoff expressed his gratitude towards Christopher Dorman, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Tift Regional Health System, for bringing this proposal to his office and for his leadership in the community.
