Sage Memorial Hospital is taking its healthcare services on the road with the launch of two mobile units that will offer outpatient services to communities across the Navajo Nation. These units will provide a range of services, including screenings and education for diabetes mellitus, rapid HIV and syphilis tests, treatments for sexually transmitted infections, adult immunizations, harm reduction services, and walk-in services.

The mobile units will serve eight locations within the Navajo Nation, including Ganado, Nazlini, Kinlichee, Klagetoh, Wide Ruin, Steamboat, Cornfields, and Greasewood. The goal is to provide comprehensive care through these mobile units and make healthcare more accessible to those who may not have easy access to it otherwise.

In addition to the mobile units, Sage Memorial Hospital is also introducing the Produce Prescription Pilot Program. This program aims to increase access to fruits, vegetables
