As AI technology continues to advance, corporate organizations are increasingly turning to it for a range of applications in their operations. OpenAI’s ChatGPT Enterprise has been particularly successful, offering enhanced security, longer context windows, advanced analysis capabilities, and more. With over 600,000 users signed up for the service, up from 150,000 in January, it is clear that there is a growing demand for AI in the workplace.

OpenAI’s COO Brad Lightcap predicts that 2024 will be the year of adoption for AI in the enterprise. The company expects to maintain its momentum in the coming years as more organizations embrace this technology. Although pricing information has not been disclosed publicly yet, reports suggest that ChatGPT Enterprise may cost around $60 per seat per month. There is also a lower tier called ChatGPT Team priced at $25 per user per month.

While OpenAI does not publicly share the names of organizations using ChatGPT Enterprise, it has mentioned several companies that have adopted the service such as Block, Canva, Carlyle Group, Estee Lauder Companies, PwC and Zapier. Furthermore, teams in over 80% of Fortune 500 companies have adopted ChatGPT. This demonstrates how widely used and effective the service is becoming within corporate organizations.

In addition to its use within businesses, OpenAI’s collaboration with media organizations such as Le Monde, Prisa and Axel Springer SE highlights how ChatGPT can be used to enhance journalism quality and reader experiences. The company continues to innovate with new developer features such as improvements to its fine-tuning API for generating more consistent style tone and format in AI-generated content.
