TJP Labs, a subsidiary of KIK ASS Products, has recently filed for patent protection for a new nicotine particulate that is designed to drastically increase the speed at which nicotine is released. This technology releases nicotine much faster than polacrilex, a commonly used resin complex in nicotine replacement therapy products.

One of the key features of this nicotine particulate is its ability to be customized in terms of particle size, ranging from ultra-fine to several hundred microns, allowing for precise product design. The technology also includes precision-targeted binding that improves nicotine release rate, ultimately enhancing effectiveness. Additionally, the broad spectrum of adaptable core materials increases product versatility and opens up new application possibilities.

The efficient use of raw materials allows for a significantly higher nicotine loading compared to polacrilex. Furthermore, the composition of the product is eco-friendly and versatile, optimized for both organic and inorganic forms, including biodegradable resins. This enables diverse and innovative applications of the technology.

David Richmond-Peck, Chief Relationship Officer at TJP Labs, stated that this patent application demonstrates the company’s dedication to redefining nicotine consumption through innovation. They are focused on matching their innovative efforts with the changing preferences of consumers.

TJP Labs anticipates having initial evaluation data for the nicotine particulates available by the end of the second quarter of 2024.
