Our Lady of the Lake Health and Ascension Parish government have teamed up to reintroduce services offered by the parish health unit and counseling center. This partnership, which is part of the Healthy Ascension initiative, aims to improve access to healthcare services for residents of the parish through a cooperative endeavor agreement.
On March 19, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to celebrate this collaboration. Ascension Parish President Clint Cointment expressed excitement about the enhanced services offered by the facilities, which include adult and childhood vaccinations, dietitian counseling, an on-site pharmacy, mobile services, and mental and behavioral health services for various demographics.
Our Lady of the Lake Health has a long history of serving the people of Ascension Parish, and they are honored to partner with the parish government to bring their healthcare resources to the health unit and counseling center. Patients now have access to the hospital’s online patient portal, MyChart, further enhancing their ability to manage their healthcare needs.
