155th general commencement at the University of Utah is set to recognize graduates from Fall 2023, Spring and Summer 2024 who have earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees. A total of 118 current or former student-athletes from the university will be awarded their degrees during this ceremony, which will take place on Thursday, May 2 at 6 p.m. MT via livestream at www.utah.edu/live.

The University of Utah boasts an impressive graduation rate for its student-athletes, with a recent NCAA GSR Report released in December 2023 revealing a figure of 94%. This marks the sixth consecutive year that Utah’s score has been 93% or higher, ranking the university second in the Pac-12 behind Stanford.

Among the different sports represented by the graduating student-athletes are baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, cross country and track & field, football, golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, skiing, soccer, softball, men’s swimming & diving, women’s swimming & diving, men’s tennis, women’s tennis, beach volleyball and volleyball.

The university is proud to celebrate the academic achievements of its student-athletes and looks forward to their future successes both on and off the field.
