The Raiders are reportedly considering moving their 2024 training camp from Henderson to Southern California. According to Bonsignore & Hill of the LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, the team is currently in discussions with the city of Costa Mesa about using the Jack Hammett Sports Complex for this summer’s camp.

Costa Mesa’s City Council is set to discuss the possibility of entering into a one-year agreement with the Raiders, with the city already showing preparation to host the NFL franchise. If approved, the Raiders would pay $165,000 in rent to the city and an additional $600,000 for field improvements at the sports complex.

Practices are expected to be open to the public, providing fans with an opportunity to watch the team prepare for the upcoming season. This potential move would see the Raiders join four other NFL teams in training within 100 miles of each other in Southern California.

The decision by Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis to relocate their training camp from Henderson signifies a commitment towards providing optimal conditions for their players as they prepare for next year’s season. The move also opens up possibilities for fan engagement and community involvement during preseason practices.
