Sixthly, a single shot of the vaccine is insufficient to provide long-term immunity; therefore, it requires a full regimen prescribed by a healthcare professional.
Seventhly, pregnant women can safely receive the rabies vaccine without altering their vaccination schedule. There is no evidence of fetal abnormalities due to vaccination, making it a crucial preventive measure for expectant mothers.
The cost of rabies vaccines varies depending on facilities and types of vaccine ranging from 250 thousand VND to 500 thousand VND per dose. Accessible facilities such as hospitals, health centers and clinics are essential for receiving timely and effective prevention against this deadly disease.
