Italy’s Camila Moroni made history at the Boulder World Cup, earning her first silver medal after topping two of the final boulders. She was the first to attempt the problems after finishing sixth in the semi-finals, and despite missing the zone on the final problem, she secured her first medal.

Moroni was thrilled with her performance in China, where the event took place, and expressed her gratitude for having had the opportunity to compete there. Luo Zhilu of China also had a personal best result, finishing in third place with one top. Despite taking more attempts than Moroni, Luo was satisfied with her performance and excited about the result.

France’s Zelia Avezou and Great Britain’s Erin McNeice also had personal best results in their first Boulder World Cup final. Avezou finished fourth with one top, while McNeice finished fifth, also with one top. Matsufuji Anon of Japan rounded out the finalists in sixth place with one topped boulder.

Overall, it was an exciting competition for women’s bouldering enthusiasts around the world as they watched these talented athletes showcase their skills and achieve personal milestones on a global stage.
