On April 19, 2024, Purdue University Northwest received recognition for its excellence in graduate programs in Nursing and Business. The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner, offered by the College of Nursing, was ranked No. 87 nationally in the Best Nursing Master’s program category. This marked an improvement from its previous ranking of No. 100. The MSN program at PNW prepares advanced nurses to promote health, prevent disease, and provide counseling and education to patients in primary care settings as FNPs.
In addition to this recognition, PNW’s online MSN program was also ranked among the best online programs by U.S. News and World Report’s 2024 Best Online Programs rankings. This program offers a convenient and flexible option for nurses who wish to advance their careers while continuing to work in the field.
On the business side, PNW’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, offered by the College of Business, was also nationally ranked in the Best Part-time MBA Programs category. The MBA program at PNW provides students with a rigorous curriculum and flexible scheduling, including evening classes, to help them increase their earning potential and develop leadership skills through an advanced degree.
