For several days, Russia has been carrying out massive attacks on Ukraine, with a particular focus on energy installations. As a result of these attacks, power cuts had to be implemented in the regions of Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, and Kirovograd until the evening. According to Ukrainian Energy Minister, Russian drones and missiles targeted power plants in east-central Ukraine overnight from Thursday to Friday. Three Ukrainian thermal power plants were damaged in these attacks, according to Ukrainian energy supplier DTEK.

In response to the attacks, Poland’s armed forces monitored their airspace due to Russian missiles in western Ukraine. The Polish army confirmed intense long-range aerial activity by the Russian Federation linked to missile strikes against targets in Ukrainian territory. At the same time, an incident occurred where a Ukrainian drone attack hit an apartment building in the Russian city of Belgorod, resulting in casualties.
