The Sports Media Certificate Program at Cal State Fullerton is providing students with hands-on experiences and opportunities to enhance their skills as future sports media professionals. Led by Gayle Jansen Brisbane and Bob Young, the program will offer students the chance to report live from the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

Through this educational journey abroad, students will gain exposure to different cultures and a deeper understanding of global sports. The program’s dual focus on sports journalism and writing will help participants develop a well-rounded skill set that will distinguish them in the competitive sports media field.

To make this opportunity accessible to all students, the program is seeking donations to support underrepresented students. For more information or to contribute, please reach out to Courtney Lutkus at clutkus@fullerton.edu.
