A significant portion of these travelers, 47%, have purchased their tickets through digital channels, showing a 5% increase compared to 2023 purchases on site and the App. This growth in bookings confirms the conscious choice of Italians who are increasingly using the train, a sustainable mode of transportation, for their travels.

Trenitalia is promoting regional travel to cities of art and villages not typically served by high-speed trains through its Regional Links service.
