A burglar struck three small businesses in Eagle Rock overnight, leaving local business owners concerned and on edge as law enforcement continues to investigate the crimes. Surveillance footage captured the break-in at Cheebo restaurant on Colorado Boulevard around 4 a.m. on Sunday, showing the burglar entering the front door, heading straight for the cash register, and leaving within a minute.

George Tripodakis, the general manager of Cheebo, expressed alarm over the fact that the burglar seemed to know exactly where to go to steal the money. He suspects that the same burglar also hit Loop Espresso Club and Chateau Lemongrass in the area. Tripodakis was notified of the break-ins by another business owner whose alarm was triggered when the burglar attempted to enter their property.

Michael Nogueira, a resident of Eagle Rock, noted that these incidents tend to occur during heavy rain, which raises concerns for small, local businesses that are often the target of such crimes.
