Oklahoma Wesleyan Baseball Has Secured a Spot in the NAIA National Tournament

The Oklahoma Wesleyan Eagles are thrilled to announce that they have earned a spot in the NAIA National Tournament. This achievement comes after an impressive turnaround, as the team had been struggling in the final weeks leading up to the tournament and lost five of six games. However, their determination and resilience paid off, allowing them to win the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament title over the weekend.

Head coach Kirk Kelly praised his team for their ability to handle pressure during the tournament. The NAIA Baseball Tournament Selection Show is set to take place on Thursday afternoon at 4:00, and will be broadcasted live on the NAIA’s YouTube page. The Eagles will be competing in a double-elimination tournament, where they will need to win in order to move on to the NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho.

The journey has been exciting for the Eagles as they await their assignment in the national tournament. Despite facing challenges along the way, this accomplishment is a testament to their hard work and dedication as a team. They look forward to representing Oklahoma Wesleyan on a national stage and continuing their quest for success in baseball.
