Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase returns on April 17, Expected to reveal release date for Hollow Knight: Silksong”.

The Indie World Showcase is back, and this time it’s coming to you on April 17 at 4pm CEST / 7am PT / 3pm BST. Nintendo has announced that the livestream will be available on their official YouTube channel, as well as on Nintendo UK and Nintendo of America. The showcase is expected to last around 20 minutes and will feature announcements and updates on indie games coming to the Nintendo Switch in 2024.

While the participating indie studios have not been revealed yet, fans are hoping that the highly anticipated sequel to Hollow Knight, Hollow Knight: Silksong, will finally get a release date announcement. The game was first announced in February 2019 and has been eagerly awaited ever since. The last update on Hollow Knight: Silksong was in 2022, when a new trailer was revealed during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase event.

The game is set to launch on multiple platforms including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, as well as Xbox Game Pass. Stay tuned for more updates and announcements during the Indie World Showcase.
