Matthew A. Love, president and CEO of Nicklaus Children’s Health System, has highlighted the importance of understanding the unique care goals and experiences of Nicklaus Children’s patients. He emphasized that children have specific radiology needs that require specialized solutions to cater to their needs. Love also stressed the importance of making medical procedures fun and instilling confidence in children to reduce stress for both patients and their families.

Nicklaus Children’s Health System will enhance its cardiac care services with the Philips EPIQ CVx and Compact 5500CV AI-enabled ultrasound systems. These systems automate measurements and strain quantification, reducing exam times and improving accuracy. TrueVue imaging technology will assist in interpreting structural heart diseases and facilitate communication between healthcare providers, ultimately improving patient outcomes.

Jeff DiLullo, Chief Region Leader for Philips North America, emphasized the importance of creating a healthy future for every child. He highlighted the collaborative approach taken by Philips in developing systems tailored to pediatric patients, working with child psychologists in addition to engineers.
