The Volkswagen Passat and Tiguan have finally arrived in the Croatian market, six months after their world premiere. VW has focused on electric models in recent years, but they have not forgotten their popular classic models with gasoline and diesel engines. The new generations of these vehicles continue to cater to this majority of sales.

We had the opportunity to drive both the new Passat and Tiguan at a presentation held in Istria, Croatia. While many familiar aspects remain, there have been significant changes made to these vehicles.

The Passat now only comes in a station wagon body style, while its limousine version is no longer available. The body line is similar to its predecessor, but major changes have been made at the front and rear. The interior has undergone major renovations, featuring a new cockpit and infotainment system.

In terms of engines, the offer in Croatia is currently limited, but it will soon expand to include more diesel options and new plug-in hybrid versions. The new Passat also features a new suspension system with adaptive shock absorbers for a comfortable driving experience. The cabin is impressively quiet with minimal noise levels, and fuel efficiency is outstanding.

The Tiguan has seen a significant upgrade compared to its predecessor with a larger size and more interior space. The interior features a large touch screen and multifunctional wheel for various controls. There are now more engine options available for gasoline, diesel, and plug-in hybrid versions. The driving experience is comfortable, agile, fun for an SUV that offers impressive handling on the road or off it.

Both vehicles offer high-quality driving experiences with modern technology features that make them stand out from other cars on the market. Pricing varies depending on equipment levels and engine options but Volkswagen expects high sales for both models in Croatia.

Overall, the new Passat and Tiguan bring balance to the Croatian roads by offering comfort luxury modern technology that appeals to car enthusiasts looking for something special on their rides.
