Valencia CF player Cristian Rivero made his debut with the team in LALIGA yesterday at Mestalla. He was given the honor of wearing the captain’s armband. The goalkeeper from Gandía joined the VCF Academy at a young age and made his official debut with the first team on December 16, 2020, playing against Terrassa CF in a Copa del Rey match. Rivero has been a promising player for the Valencianista team since then.
In an interview with VCF Media after the game against Deportivo Alavés, which was part of matchday 34 of LALIGA EA Sports 23-24, Rivero expressed his excitement about his debut. He said, “I am thrilled to be here playing for Valencia CF. I have always dreamed of being a part of this team and now that dream has become a reality.”
Rivero also mentioned that he had worked hard to get to this point and was grateful for the opportunity to play for such a great club. “I have trained every day to be ready for this moment,” he said. “I am grateful to everyone who has supported me along the way, especially my family and coaches at the academy.”
The fans at Mestalla were impressed by Rivero’s performance and cheered him on throughout the game. He made several impressive saves and helped keep Valencia’s defense strong. Overall, it was a memorable day for Rivero and he will remember it as one of the most significant moments in his career as a footballer.
