In a recent development, Madhu Arora has assumed the role of Member, Technology/Digital Communication Commission at the Indian Department of Telecom (DOT), starting April 1, 2024. With her wealth of experience and exceptional leadership qualities, Arora is well-regarded in the telecommunications sector for her contributions to its growth and development.

Arora holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication from Delhi College of Engineering, an MBA from the University of Queensland, and an LLB from Campus Law Centre, Delhi University. Her achievements include securing a coveted position on the Merit List in the Class X All India CBSE examination and holding top positions in her academic pursuits and professional roles.

Throughout her career, Arora has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities. She served as CGM, Telecom West Bengal, from September 2021 to January 2024 and previously held the position of Advisor, Licensing in DOT’s Government of India. Prior to that role, she restructured Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) during her tenure as its nodal Principal GM.

Arora is recognized as a dynamic, focused, and empathetic leader whose appointment signals the Indian government’s commitment to utilizing top talent to drive innovation and development in the telecommunications sector.
