NBCUniversal Media Group has announced the promotion of David Pietrycha to Chief Business Officer, a newly created position within the organization. In his new role, Pietrycha will be responsible for developing strategies to drive the evolution and growth of the business. He will collaborate closely with divisional leadership on key resource allocation and investment decisions, including content rights, strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and new business development.

Pietrycha has recently overseen major sports rights negotiations for sports leagues like NFL, NASCAR, and WWE, and has a wealth of experience in new business opportunities, distribution strategies, affiliate renewals, and key portfolio decisions across linear and streaming platforms. Prior to his current role as EVP Strategy & Business Development at NBCUniversal Media Group, he served as Chief Financial Officer for NBC Sports Group.
