Keita Nakajima of Japan has just won the Hero Indian Open on the DP World Tour, making a two-shot lead on the first day grow to nine shots by the end of the final round. He shot 40 on the back nine, but still finished four shots ahead of Veer Ahlawat of India and Sebastian Soderberg of Sweden. This victory moves Nakajima to No. 13 in the Race to Dubai and No. 9 among those who do not already have PGA Tour status.

Nakajima’s win gives him a lot of confidence and he hopes to turn this into even more wins in the future. He won for the fourth time in the last 10 months, including three times on the Japan Golf Tour last year which enabled him to win the Order of Merit. The leading 10 players after the season will receive PGA Tour cards.
