The Dixie Mart in Parkers Chapel was the site of an alleged robbery on May 5th at approximately 8:50 p.m. The Union County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking a suspect in connection with the incident.
According to reports, the suspect is described as a white male wearing jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt. He was also observed wearing a mask, possibly with stars on it, and his jeans had a large rip in the back. Witnesses reported seeing the suspect interacting with individuals in vehicles before entering the store.
After the alleged robbery, the suspect was seen heading north from the store, passing in front of a church, and then turning east into a nearby neighborhood.
