An Israeli woman, Alma Buadana, recently passed away in Rio de Janeiro after falling from a 15-meter height while trying to escape a motorcyclist or someone in a red car. Alma had been in Brazil for over three months before her untimely death on May 7.
However, the police found inconsistencies in the companion’s testimonies, leading them to suspect his involvement in Alma’s death. Homicide detectives are currently investigating all leads and trying to piece together the events that led to Alma’s tragic accident.
Alma had flown to Brazil over three months ago and spent the initial 90 days in Salvador before arriving in Rio de Janeiro just ten days before her passing. The Israeli Foreign Ministry has expressed their condolences and is assisting in transporting Alma’s body back to Israel for burial.
The tragic event occurred on Almirante Alexandrino Boulevard, near Mount Corcovado, where Alma fell to her death at around 7:00 PM on May 7. The investigation into her death continues as authorities try to determine what led to this unfortunate incident.
