An anonymous witness claimed to have seen a man wielding a knife at the Westfield Bondi Junction shopping center in Sydney on April 13. According to her, the attacker rushed towards the crowd and caused chaos and confusion as people ran screaming. She immediately fled the area and heard gunshots shortly after.

Ellie Williams, 21 years old, described finishing lunch with her friends at the food court when they suddenly heard people running away and screaming. She saw a man chasing people with a knife and heard gunshots as she left through an emergency exit. Witnesses like Hannah Bodrozic and Guy Johnston also recalled the fear and confusion that engulfed them during the incident.

Roi Huberman, who was in a store at the time of the incident, said he heard gunshots and was told to lock himself inside for safety. The police later shot and killed the male suspect involved in the attack, resulting in multiple fatalities and many critically injured individuals. Videos and photos on social media showed emergency vehicles and a large police presence outside the mall.

The attack at Westfield Bondi Junction shopping center left many people shocked and alarmed. Police have urged members of the public to stay away from the area while they investigate what happened on April 13. Reports suggest that there were multiple casualties due to this violent event.
