MTR Foods and Lorman Kitchen Equipments recently set a world record by preparing a 123-foot long dosa, making it the longest dosa in the world according to Guinness World Records. To achieve this milestone, the team of 75 chefs, led by Chef Regi Mathews, put in months of planning and hard work. They used MTR’s red rice dosa batter to create the record-breaking dosa at MTR’s Bommasandra Factory.

Chef Regi Mathews shared the news on Instagram, expressing his excitement over the achievement. He stated that the historic milestone took place on March 15th, 2024, at MTR Factory in Bengaluru. He thanked everyone who contributed to the success of this world record. This isn’t the first time MTR has made a world record with dosa. Previously, they created a dosa that measured 16.68m (54ft 8.69in) in length. The brand continues to push the boundaries of dosa-making, showcasing their dedication to the beloved Indian dish.
