A young girl in Hanoi who had end-stage kidney failure underwent a successful kidney transplant at the National Children’s Hospital, allowing her to return to a normal life. Before the transplant, she required dialysis three times a week to manage her condition. Despite the challenges posed by dialysis, such as its low quality of life and many risks, the transplant was successful and the girl received a healthy kidney.

The medical team at the hospital conducted genetic testing before the transplant to ensure the best prognosis for the patient.
