Meta has recently released new features in Messenger that enhance the experience of sending photos. With these updates, users can now send high-definition images, create shared photo albums, and share larger files of up to 100MB. These new options aim to enrich conversations and connections on the messaging platform.

One of the new features allows users to send high-definition photos in Messenger chats, similar to WhatsApp. Users can also select multiple HD images to send at once. To send photos in HD, simply select the image and activate the HD option in the upper right corner of the screen. This feature will make it easier for users to share their best moments with friends and family in crystal clear detail.

Another new feature is the ability to create shared photo albums in chats. This feature helps users organize memories and moments shared with others. Users can create photo and video albums for various occasions, such as birthdays or trips with friends. There is also an option to add a specific name for each shared album, making it easy for users to find and access their favorite memories later on.

In addition to these new features, Messenger users can now send larger files of up to 100MB in their conversations, supporting major file formats like Word, PDF, and Excel. This update makes it easier for users to share documents and other files during chats without any limitations or restrictions.

Furthermore, Meta has introduced a new feature that allows users to add new contacts via QR codes. This feature makes it quick and easy for users to add new contacts without having to manually enter their information. Users can simply scan the Messenger QR code of a new contact or share their own QR code through a link.

These updates are now available to all Messenger users worldwide, with the shared albums feature rolling out in coming weeks. Meta continues its commitment towards enhancing the messaging platform by providing more engaging and convenient features for its millions of active users globally.
