On Saturday, the No. 52 Maryland Terrapins secured a 4-1 victory over Rutgers in their first match of the day. The Terps got off to a great start with a win in doubles play, with Selma Cadar and Kallista Liu winning the No. 2 doubles match and Minorka Miranda and Maria Budin securing a victory in the No. 1 doubles match. This gave Maryland an early lead heading into singles play.

Cadar and Liu continued their winning ways in singles, with Cadar taking the No. 1 singles match and Liu winning her third consecutive singles match. Rutgers managed to get on the board by winning the No. 6 singles match, but Maria Budin sealed the victory for Maryland with a hard-fought win in the No. 4 singles match. With this win, Maryland improved their home record to 9-1.

In doubles play, Miranda and Budin secured another victory for Maryland by winning in the No. 1 doubles match, while Cadar and Liu won in the No. 2 doubles match. In singles, Cadar, Liu, and Budin all secured victories for Maryland, with Cadar winning the No. 1 singles match, Liu winning the No. 3 singles match, and Budin winning
