French President Emmanuel Macron has recently spoken out about the need for stricter regulations on online services and parental control for young children. Macron emphasized the dangers of cyberbullying, pornography, and child sexual abuse online and compared allowing children to use the Internet without supervision to sending them into a jungle.

In addition to his call for tighter control of online content, Macron also highlighted the importance of protecting children from online threats. In France, there have been calls to ban children under 13 from accessing online services to protect them from harmful content. A study by the World Health Organization revealed that a significant number of schoolchildren between the ages of 11 and 15 have experienced bullying online, leading to physical and mental health issues.

Macron stressed the need for a “civilizational battle” in Europe to protect young people from the dangers of the online world and ensure their safety and well-being. While he focused primarily on young people, there are also resources available for adults to enhance their workspaces, such as ergonomic office chairs and privacy films for windows. It is essential for individuals to prioritize both their physical and mental well-being in all aspects of their lives, including when using technology and creating productive work environments.
