The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for a missing 71-year-old man named Billy Kearse in Gaffney, South Carolina. On Tuesday morning, he was last seen walking along Ann’s Trail near Scruggs Trail, accompanied by a small Chihuahua dog and heading out for a fishing trip when he went missing.

Kearse has a tracheotomy and uses a voice box amplifier due to health concerns. He is described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall, 130 pounds, with shoulder-length gray hair. Kearse also has a tattoo on his left upper arm that reads “Jennie.”
