The Kentucky Chamber has released a comprehensive summary of the 2024 Kentucky General Assembly and its implications for businesses. The publication, titled Results for Business, includes detailed descriptions of bills, information on priority legislation that was passed, a legislative voting record, and much more.
This year’s session saw a number of significant achievements. The Chamber’s advocacy efforts led to $1.006 billion in savings for Kentucky employers, resulting in savings of $589 per employee in the state. Additionally, lawmakers made substantial investments in the Commonwealth’s future through the biennial budget, funding priorities such as child care, education, economic development, infrastructure, and more.
Alongside these budget investments, the Chamber successfully advocated for various priorities, including the enactment of voluntary paid leave insurance, the removal of barriers to opening new child care centers, the establishment of a data privacy framework
