Justin Timberlake, a 43-year-old singer known for hits like “Selfish” and “Cry Me a River,” is facing legal trouble after being arrested for drunk driving on Long Island. He was apprehended in Sag Harbor after running a stop sign while driving his 2025 gray BMW UT, just blocks away from a party he had been attending at The American Hotel. Despite his upcoming world tour, Timberlake is scheduled to appear in court on July 26. This date coincides with the first of two shows in Kraków, Poland, part of his “Forget Tomorrow World Tour.”

Timberlake’s arrest has brought up questions about the status of his upcoming performances at venues like Chicago’s United Center and Madison Square Garden. As the court documents describe him as being intoxicated while operating his vehicle, it is unclear whether these performances will be affected by his legal issues. Timberlake failed multiple field sobriety tests during his arrest and refused to take a chemical test. In the court filings obtained by the Daily News, he claimed to have only had one martini and was following his friends home.

This incident adds to a string of challenges Timberlake has faced in recent years, including personal controversies and public scrutiny. In late 2019, photos surfaced of him getting close to a co-star, Alisha Wainwright, despite being married to Jessica Biel. Additionally, his past relationship with Britney Spears was brought up in her memoir, with allegations of infidelities and other grievances. As Timberlake navigates these personal and legal issues, fans are left wondering about the future of his career.
