In a recent Instagram post, Jackie Chan reassured his fans that despite appearing older in recent photos, he is as healthy as ever. He clarified that his appearance was due to his role in an upcoming movie where he needs to appear older with white hair and a white beard.

As he celebrated his 70th birthday, Chan took a moment to reflect on his long and illustrious career. He mentioned how friends had been reminding him of his age and how shocking it was to realize he had reached the age of 70. He also shared a sentiment from his colleague, Sammo Hung, about the fortune of growing old, especially as a stuntman in the industry.

Chan expressed his gratitude for all the birthday wishes from his fans and hoped that everyone would remain happy and healthy. While not specifying the role that required his aged appearance, he did mention his upcoming project in the next Karate Kid installment, scheduled for release in December, where he will be reprising his role alongside Ralph Macchio from the original 1984 film.
