The Israeli Air Force conducted strikes in Aleppo province, Syria, resulting in the deaths of five Hezbollah members. Ahmad Shahimi, a senior Hezbollah representative in Syria responsible for weapons and ammunition supply with close ties to Iran, was among the deceased. Reports indicate that the targets included pro-Iranian forces and the Syrian army, causing casualties among civilians and military personnel.

According to Syrian bloggers, photos and videos were shared on social media following the air strikes in An-Nirab and Al-Safira. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported at least 42 deaths and numerous injuries resulting from the attack. Opposition sources claim that the strike killed five Hezbollah commanders and fighters, with high-explosive rockets allegedly used during the attack.

Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed reported that one of the missiles fired by Syrian air defense fell near a village, causing a fire. Additionally, the IDF targeted a building housing Hezbollah’s headquarters east of Aleppo airport. The attacks resulted in the largest number of casualties from an Israeli operation in recent history, raising tensions in the region.
