In a recent phone conversation, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdolahian and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan discussed issues related to the relationship between Tehran and Ankara. They also talked about regional developments and the situation in Gaza, including the Israeli attacks on the building of the Iranian consulate in Damascus on April 1.

Yesterday, Ebrahim Raisi, the President of Iran, spoke with Erdogan over the phone to discuss bilateral relations as well as regional and global issues. Raisi expressed gratitude to Erdogan for Turkey’s condemnation of the attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria and emphasized that Iran would not let this crime go unanswered.
